13 Feb We’re Sponsoring the KDKA Radio Warmathon
Make your calendars, Pittsburgh! The 11th Annual NewsRadio 1020 KDKA Radio Warmathon is almost here! Now’s the time to dip into your wallets and be a little (or a lot) more generous to help your fellow neighbors get through the cold months.
What is the Warmathon?
The KDKA Warmathon is a two-day radio fundraiser that collects donations to benefit the Dollar Energy Fund. It will be held from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on February 14th and February 15, 2019 in the Bowser Nissan Theater in Greentree.
This year, we’ve sponsored the event and have teamed up with the Warmathon to help families in the area this year.
What is the Dollar Energy Fund?
The Dollar Energy Fund works to provide financial assistance to families who can’t cover the cost of safe utility services. Through donations and sponsors, they’ve raised almost $3 million to help families who don’t have utility services to keep them safe and warm in the winter.
In the past 10 years, the Dollar Energy Fund has helped more than 8,600 families in our area!
How Do I Donate?
There are several ways you’ll be able to donate during the two-day event. You can:
