19 Aug What to Do When Your A/C Doesn’t Work
There is nothing more frustrating than a broken air conditioner on a hot summer day. Before you give us a call, here are a few things you might want to check to help get your A/C back up and running.
- Check the Electric – First, make sure that there is electric running to your house. Sometimes homeowners don’t realize that their whole neighborhood is out of power, rather than a broken A/C.
- Change Your Air Filter – Dirty air filters can restrict air flow and keep air from flowing through your home. If they’re not changed regularly, this restriction can even cause the A/C to malfunction.
- Check Your Thermostat – Does your thermostat run on batteries? Check to make sure that your thermostat turns on. If it doesn’t light up, you may need to change the batteries.
If you’re still having trouble with your air conditioner, give us a call! Our professional HVAC technicians are here to help you with all your HVAC needs – whether it be air conditioning repairs or installations. We can help you stay cool through the rest of the summer.
