In order to actually fix the problem with your AC, you need a lot more knowledge than what you can gain just watching DIY videos.
It’s Not Safe
Your AC has a lot of moving parts and electrical aspects that are not that simple to navigate. Without the right training, you could easily injure yourself trying to fix the unit on your own. Anytime electricity is involved, you should hire a trained professional to help you.
You Could Void Your Warranty
Warranties are in place for a reason, and you should definitely read over yours before you try your hand at DIY AC repairs. A lot of warranties require you to have your unit professionally serviced if there is something wrong with it. If you do the repairs yourself, you can void the warranty which can cost you more in repairs in the long run.
It’s Not Always a Simple Fix
