What Does Our AC Tune-Up Service Include?

Our air conditioning maintenance includes a comprehensive system check and cleaning.

During your AC tune-up service, our technicians will:

• Check and clean condensate tubing
• Check and clean condensate drain
• Clean the outdoor condenser
• Test the compressor-start rotor amps and run load amps
• Tighten electrical connections
• Test the condenser fan motor and blade
• Test safety controls
• Inspect the capacitor(s)
• Test Refrigerant: subcool/superheat, liquid line, and suction line
• Test Refrigerant: measure the temperature drop across the evaporator coil
• Conduct a visual inspection of the evaporator coil and line-set
• Measure indoor airflow
• Cycle the unit from the thermostat, test thermostat calibration
• Inspect blower alignment
• Conduct a visual inspection of furnace/inspect blower condition
• Test relative humidity levels and adjust blower as needed
• Conduct an accessory check
• Electronically test for gas and/or carbon monoxide leaks
• Test smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
• Add/update service sticker
• Tag emergency shut-off valves
