26 Jul A Letter from Your AC
Hi! It’s Amy, your AC, here! I’ve been trying to get a hold of you for a while now, and since you didn’t really notice my cries for help, I figured I would just have to pen you a letter to let you know what’s going on.
First off, I would like to say that Inormally love working with you. I think we’ve become pretty close the past few years, and I’ve done a pretty good job of keeping you, Tom, and the kids cool during these hot summer months.
However, I do have a few grievances I would like to get off my chest. I do not appreciate you and the family talking badly about me, especially when I’m right there in the room. And not to sound rude, but if you’re not happy with how I’m cooling your home, you might want to look in the mirror to see the reason why.
You haven’t changed my filter in three months! Do you know how hard it is to cool a room when you’ve got so much dust and dirt on your filter? Really hard! Plus, you whine about the rest of the house not being cool, but honey, you only have one of me. I’m a window AC — I’m supposed to cover one room. If you want the rest of the house as cold as your living room, you’ll need to get central air or get me a few friends to cover the rest of the house. You got the dog a friend, and all that thing does is yip and bark, so you should be fine getting me a friend who can actually do something productive.
I guess what I’m trying to say is that I do like keeping the family comfortable, but I can’t do it on my own. I need you to help me out. I heard this company called Wahl Family Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing can help you with AC maintenance and repairs — even AC installations — so you should give them a call.
I hope you do, so we can go back to being the best of pals!
Sincerely,
Amy, the AC
