09 Sep How to Prepare Your Air Conditioning System for Fall
Fall is just a couple of weeks away. It’s time to start prepping your air conditioning system for the cooler weather! Here are a few tips to keep in mind as we approach the new season.
A/C Fall Prep:
- Change Your Air Filters – The change in seasons is the perfect time to change out your air filters. Take a look at your system and make sure that it is clean. Air filters play an important roll in how efficiently your HVAC system is working.
- Clean the Coils – The air conditioner’s evaporator coil and condenser coil can collect dirt over the summer months from your lawn mower (and through the fall as the leaves change). This dirt reduces airflow and can cause your A/C to absorb heat. Clean the area around the coils and remove any debris.
- Schedule HVAC Maintenance – HVAC maintenance helps make sure that your system is running smoothly as we change seasons.
